Jessie sent me a whole bunch of music by the Gorillaz...and it's awesome. They have succesfully defended their position in my "favorite bands" group. Congratulations guys.

I got the book "Band of Brothers" after watching the mini-series about ten times. I'm glad I finally did, because it clears a lot of things up. That, and is a historical depiction of what happened instead of a hollywood depiction of a historical event. Plus, I feel smarter when they say something and I know what they're talking about... it's a warm fuzzy feeling...I hope it never goes away...

Let's see, I had German, Japanese, World History, and Philosophy today. Yeah, I had all those. And, yes. It did suck. It sucked so much.
It wouldn't be too bad, except that in two of my classes (World Hist. and Phi) were are behind. Horribly, badly behind. And, as it appears to me, we shall be making slow progress in the days to come. It's like trench warfare (to borrow a war analogy) fighting for every inch of land (or, in this case, academia).
Hmm...what could these teachers be thinking? I've had ancient history pounded into my head over and over again. I want to know more recent history. Like, wwi, or Korea, or Vietnam. Not Rome-- again.

I guess I can understand why we're taking our time in Phi. Our prof wants to make sure that everyone know whats going on. Phi not being a concrete art, people get confused... and they always seem to be.
I wouldn't go....but we only get so many absents....and not enough.
